Executive Bios

 

Michael Thayer

Mike is the President and co-founder of DELTAWRX. He is a nationally recognized expert in voice and data wireless communications systems. Mike has led engagements at all levels of the public sector, where he has focused on strategic and technical planning, system procurement, vendor selection, contract negotiations, system financing, and large systems implementation. Mike has also successfully led assignments for over 30 public sector agencies. Before founding DELTAWRX, Mike led a variety of assignments as Vice President in Gartner’s State and Local Government Consulting Practice. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles. In his free time, Mike enjoys playing golf, running and spending time with his wife.

 

Brian Hudson

Brian is DELTAWRX's co-founder. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, procurement, contract negotiations and project management. Brian has over a decade of professional experience as a regulator and advisor to the telecommunications industry. Over the past nine years, Brian has managed more than twenty public safety communications and information technology consulting engagements in the state and local government arena. He is an industry expert on computer aided dispatch, records management, mobile data, automated field reporting and wireless communications systems. Before joining DELTAWRX, Brian spent five years with Gartner in the State and Local Government Consulting Practice. Brian holds an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a BA from Stanford University. Brian enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two daughters.

 

Howard Goodman

Howard is a principal with DELTAWRX. He is responsible for the development, management and technical review of key engagements including the timely presentation of quality deliverables. Howard is also involved with the firm’s internal strategic and organizational development. He possesses extensive experience in public sector communications and information systems, public safety operations, and organizational effectiveness. Howard was the founder and CEO of The Warner Group, for two decades one of the nation’s leading public sector consulting firms. Prior to founding The Warner Group, Howard was an executive in the management consulting division of Ernst & Young and Alexander Grant. Howard earned an MBA and BA from UCLA. Howard enjoys hiking, tennis and traveling with his wife.
