Serving a population of over 500,000 The City and County of Denver recognized a need for improved communication and increased reliability of its current 800 MHz radio communication system utilized by public safety agencies.

DELTAWRX was asked by the City/County to provide an independent review of its existing radio system and develop a procurement strategy for upgrading and/or replacing its current voice and data systems. DELTAWRX is leading the City through an interactive design process that has helped convey priority in-building and on-street coverage areas, interoperability, capacity, and system reliability requirements to prospective vendors. DELTAWRX is also providing the City/County contract negotiations and project management services throughout its radio system implementation.

DELTAWRX has provided Denver with highly valued independence that has resulted in a clean, unbiased procurement process that protects the City/County’s interests and ensures an advanced, reliable system for the public safety agencies.
